Ramdev Ji is said to belong to Tanwar Rajput clan hailing from Runicha in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. The people who immigrated from Rajasthan especially rever Ramdevji. He is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Krishna in Rajasthan. His devotees visit Runicha to pay homage to the deity. His male devotees are known as Kamads and females are called Terah Taalis and they sing songs in praise of Ramdevji. The important temples dedicated to him are at Sirsa, Dabwali, Kagdana, Ludesar, Ellenabad, Rampura (Bagrian) and Kuranganwali. Back
